Unable to Open Excel Files on RDP Server

 

This issue is found on RDP servers running Microsoft Office. The user account is licensed correctly, but they are unable to open Excel files from local and share drives.

Error:

 Microsoft Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space.

· To make more memory available, close workbooks or programs you no longer need.

· To free disk space, delete files you no longer need from the disk you are saving to.

File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trusted Locations

If files are in a share drive

Put a check in Allow Trusted Locations on my network

Click Add new location.

Browse to the folder or drive where the Excel files are stored

Select Subfolders of this location are also trusted
