Accessing the FortiClient SSL VPN
1. Browse to https://www.forticlient.com/downloads
2. Select the download link for your operating system
3. Run the installer once the download is complete
4. During install, you only need to install the VPN portion of the application. If you wish to use the Endpoint security features (antivirus, vulnerability scanning, etc.) select Complete.
5. You will need to restart your computer once the installation is finished.
6. Once your computer is done restarting, open the Forticlient application, select Remote Access, and select Configure VPN.
7. Input the information contained in the following screenshot, hit apply, then close.
Remote Gateway: portals.netsurion.com
Customized port: 10001
8. Login to the VPN using your NETSUR credentials. This is the username and password used to login to the terminal servers
9. You will receive an OTP in your email.
10. Once the VPN has been successfully established. You will be able to RDP to one of the Terminal servers and connect to the file share.
If you are not able to connect to the RDP at first try appending .netsur.local to the end of the server name.
