Adding a Shared Mailbox to Outlook.

In the Outlook application click on File in the top left corner.

Click on the Account Settings button and select Account Setting

In the Account Settings window click on your profile so it is highlighted. Then click on Change.



In the Change Account window click on More Settings at the bottom right.


In the Microsoft Exchange window click on the Advanced tab.

In the Mailboxes section remove the mailboxes you do not need. Click on Add type in the name of the mailbox. Click on OK, then Apply, and OK to close the Microsoft Exchange window.

You will be back at the Change Account window. Click Finish.


You will need to close Outlook and reopen it.

In Outlook, the mailbox will show up on the left side under your personal mailbox.

Expand the new mailbox and click on the Inbox. If nothing is displayed click on Send / Receive at the top of Outlook. Click on Update Folder. It will take a minute or two for the messages to start populating.
